DarkSide of the Macintosh
DarkSide of the Macintosh is an application based screensaver for Macintosh computers running System 7.0 or later. DarkSide can be downloaded from both this page. It is also available from most online services, and through user groups.
DarkSide has been tested on a wide range of computers and systems, including 7.1, 7.5, 8.0, 8.1, 8.5, 8.6, 9.0, 9.1, 9.2, and OS X in Classic. There are no known incompatibilities with various versions of system software at this point.
Getting your copy of DarkSide
The easiest way to obtain DarkSide is to download from this web site. Please download only one of the following links. Note that these downloads are in .sit format. If you are having problems downloading them, check to make sure that your browser is properly configured.
If you would like to download DarkSide 5.0.6, click here. This is a complete package of DarkSide, but only includes the English version.
If you would like to download non-English language versions of DarkSide 5.0.6, click here. This is a complete package of DarkSide, and includes versions in English, Japanese, Italian, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Portuguese, Spanish, and Swedish. If you select this link you do not need to download the English version above.
